		– Mobile IP: support true mobility, transparent to higher protocol layers – addressing mobility at network layer has following advantages: n wireless network access n location-independent access to computing resources n continuous connectivity (even when physical media changes) n software reusability, application transparency n economy and ease of operation – Mobile IP can make it seem that a (possibly virtual) home network extends over the entire Internet, allowing for seamless roaming.
