The
objectives of our overall research are:
1)To design a S-WAHN Network Time-Synchronization Algorithm
with the following characteristics:
•Accurate
enough to allow for a time-slotted MAC
protocol (i.e., msec
accuracy)
•Scalable
•Non-hierarchical
and autonomous
•Convergent
•Distributed
(Fault tolerant)
2) To
design a S-WAHN MAC strategy that
can guarantee a
minimum performance (delay
and throughput)
•Resilient
to topology changes
•Guarantee
performance
•Fair
